We Price Match!

At Mellow Malibu, we believe you should always get the best value for your cannabis. If you find a lower price at another legal retailer, we’ll match it with the competitor’s price.

Your favourite products, always at the best price. No stress. No guessing. No overpaying.

How Our Price Match Works

✔ 1. Applies to In-Store Purchases Only

Price matching is available exclusively for in-store transactions at Mellow Malibu.

✔ 2. We Match Regular Prices AND Sale Prices

Whether the competitor is running a promo or offering a regular deal—we match it.

✔ 3. Bring Us Proof of a Lower Price

Acceptable proof includes:

  • A competitor’s website on your phone
  • A screenshot showing product, price, and date
  • A flyer or store promotion

Proof must clearly show:

  • Product name
  • Weight/format (e.g., 3.5g, 1g vape)
  • Competitor name
  • Current price
  • Product availability

✔ 4. Product Must Be Identical and In Stock

To qualify, the competitor’s product must match exactly:

  • Same brand
  • Same strain
  • Same size/weight
  • Same SKU or LP product
  • Must be in stock at the competitor’s location at the time of price match

✔ 5. Price Match Radius: 5 km

We price match competitors located within 5 kilometers of Mellow Malibu.

This ensures fair comparison with local market pricing.

✔ 6. Competitor Must Be a Legal, Licensed Cannabis Retailer

For compliance and fairness, the competitor must be:

  • A legal, licensed cannabis store in Ontario
  • A brick-and-mortar retailer
  • Not an illicit or unlicensed seller
  • Not a delivery-only illegal website
  • Not a legacy/grey-market operation

Price Match Exclusions

While we want to give you the best possible pricing, price matching does not apply to:

  • Bulk wholesale pricing
  • Clearance or liquidation events
  • Misprints or errors on competitor websites
  • Expired promotions
  • Bundles or BOGO deals that cannot be fairly compared
  • Products from stores located outside the 5 km radius

How to Request a Price Match

  1. Visit Mellow Malibu in-store
  2. Show your proof of the competitor’s pricing (phone, flyer, screenshot, etc.)
  3. Our team will verify availability and eligibility
  4. If approved, we will match the price
  5. You pay the adjusted price at checkout—simple and fast
